Anxiety : Intuitive aid or life disruptor?
Anxiety is NOT a disorder; it is a natural and intuitive response to either a situation where you are being shown that all is not as it should be, its an inner warning message; or a difficult memory is being triggered. Unresolved triggering can have a seriously impairing effect on your life, but it doesn't have to.

There are two types of Anxiety-
1) An intuitive warning response.
Our intuition is there for a reason; it is like an inner guru that can guide us through the ups and down of life. To try to repress or ignore its' presence can do us a great dis service.
This type of anxiety cannot be processed away. The key here is to discover what is making you anxious because it is an internal warning that something isn't right. Notice what is making you feel anxious. Is it a foreboding feeling, a worry, or an inner response to a decision or action? once you have pinpointed the cause you take immediate and appropriate action.
2) A triggered memory from the past.
Anxiety when it is triggering a painful memory or belief can be an ongoing debilitating feeling that can prevent us from living our best lives. The beliefs may not even be our own, just a perception we have absorbed from someone else. It can make us stressed with a high energy component that prevents us from physically or mentally relaxing. Yet, when we recognize that anxiety is an emotion, a messenger, to remind our conscious selves that we have an unresolved issue from our past that is being triggered by something happening right now, we are giving ourselves an excellent opportunity to recognize its presence and dissolve it.
